Baglady
is a new vessel built in the style of a Dutch Barge, commissioned in
2004 and sympathetically fitted out by her owner operators, Roy and
Sue Farman.
Every care has been taken to ensure she has the beautiful lines and
features of a ‘boat’, but with all the modern comforts – and more –
of home.
The barge has full standing headroom throughout and
the interior is spacious and light with modern conveniences and character
fittings.
The crew quarters are at the stern, leaving the rest of the boat for their
guests to use and enjoy.
The Guest Suite
The first class guest suite is in the bow of the boat and offers all the comforts of a Hotel room with total privacy.
Your Cabin’s full-size double bed with deep sprung mattress
and luxury topper guarantees a blissful night! All bed linen is provided
and there’s plenty of wardrobe space and storage for your suitcases.
Tea and coffee making facilities are provided for early morning or late
night brews!

The unusually spacious modern Bathroom, tiled throughout,
has a bath/shower, a large wash basin and a push button flush loo.
Towels, robes, slippers and a hairdryer are provided for your comfort.
It is our aim to make your very special boating break as restful and relaxing
as possible.

Should the weather turn cool, cosy up on the sofa with
a glass of wine and toast your toes in front of a real wood burning fire.
We have TV, DVD and Video playing facilities on board, as well as a selection
of films, music, books and board games. You are also welcome to bring
your own.

In less than perfect weather the wheelhouse with its comfortable chairs and picture windows is the ideal place to watch the romantic River Thames flow by.

But in FAB weather, where else to be but out on the rear sun deck with its sunloungers and bistro table and chairs. While away the day relaxing over a drink and absorbing the beautiful sights and sounds of this tranquil setting.
