Festival 2006
In August 2006 Baglady, together with 34 other barges and over 600 Narrow Boats and cruisers attended the Inland Waterways Diamond Jubilee Festival held at Beale Park on the River Thames.
At the festival Baglady gained second place in the prestigious 'Pris de Concours d'Elegance' competition much to the delight of Roy and Sue! This is voted for by the members of the DBA Barge Association who select the ship which, in their opinion, is the best presented
Among the several competitions held by the IWA, Baglady not only won the highly acclaimed Waterways World Shield, awarded for the Best Amateur Fit-Out, but also The 'Calor Gas' Rose Bowl for the best kept galley.

Baglady was featured in the November 2006 issue of Waterways World and in the Blue Flag, DBA Barge Association magazine.
